The winning team of St. Edward Mercy's volunteers needs you! If you have time to give and a desire to help others, you can fill important posts at the hospital such as reading to children, staffing the Mercy Gift Shop, staffing the information desk and providing a friendly face in the intensive care and surgical units in addition to many more opportunities.

Alice Clawson, Volunteer at St. Edward who has given more than 11,000 hours in service as a hospital volunteer.

"I have volunteered at St. Edward Mercy for the past 24 years. Truthfully, volunteering here does as much for me as it does for the hospital. Even though I am helping people, I receive so many blessings from them. Any time you can help somebody and they tell you that they appreciate it, that makes your day. I serve as a hostess in the surgery waiting room, work on the information desk and fill in wherever I am needed. Every job I have here is very satisfying. As a volunteer I have been blessed with the gift of time. By sharing my time with others I feel like I am giving something back to the community."
