Mercy Northside Clinic
Mercy Northside Clinic is
a not-for-profit, primary health care facility whose purpose is to provide high
quality medical and health education services at reasonable costs to individuals
and families in the Fort Smith area. Mercy Northside Clinic offers a full-time
Spanish translator and is dedicated to responding to community needs, particularly
those of limited income patients. The Clinic promotes improved access to health
care services, community involvement in the provision of health care, and emphasizes
health prevention and wellness in all treatment programs.
Mercy Northside
provides the following services:
- Prenatal
Care: Comprehensive prenatal and postpartum
care including medical assessment, nutritional counseling, health education,
fetal monitoring, laboratory tests, and one-on-one health education.
- Gynecology:
Annual medical examinations, instruction in breast self examinations, assessment
and medical treatment for conditions affecting reproductive health, pre-pregnancy
counseling health education, disease prevention education, and laboratory
services.
- Adult Primary
Care: Medical treatment and prevention services, annual exams, treatment
and management of chronic conditions (such as diabetes, hypertension, urinary
tract infections, etc.), nutritional counseling, and laboratory tests.
Mercy Northside
also provides:
- Influenza and pneumonia
shots
- Sexually transmitted
disease screening and treatment
- Hepatitis and HIV testing
- Monthly Mammograms
- Sports and school physicals
Mercy
Northside Clinic Staff:
Larry Pearce, M.D.,
is the Medical Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Pearce has over 20
years of experience and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
(FACOG).
Dr. William Dudding,
M.D., is the Medical Director for Family Practice. Dr. Dudding is certified
by the American Board of Family Practice and has practiced in the Fort Smith
area since 1976.

is a Certified Nurse Assistant and Phlebotomist with over 3 years experience.
Carmen is very caring and compassionate and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

is an Office Specialist. Dorothy has over 38 years of experience in identifying
patient’s needs and finding the resources to assist them.
