Gary
Ezell
Personal Training
Personal Training Gary has several years experience as a personal trainer. He
has a wide variety of training experience ranging from teens and seniors to
athletes. His focus is on assessing muscular and structural imbalances and personal
needs, than designing individual programs to address the specific needs and
individual goals of each client.
Certifications
Gary is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy
of Sports Medicine (NASM). Gary also is a Certified Golf Biomechanic Specialist
through the C.H.E.K. Institute which is designed to improve performance in golfers
by addressing golf-specific conditioning needs. Gary has extensive education
in anatomy and physiology with over 200 college hours. He is also well trained
and knowledgeable in biomechanics of muscular function and is a Licensed Massage
Therapist. He is currently pursuing certification through the C.H.E.K. Institute
which is a 2-3 year program that produces the most highly trained exercise therapists
and strength and conditioning specialists in the U.S.
About Gary
Gary has been and exercise an fitness enthusiast for over 15 years. He enjoys
strength training and a variety of other sporting and outdoor activities.
Bobby
Johnson
Personal Training
Bobby has been developing a strong rapport with members of the Mercy Fitness
Center since joining the facility as a member service representative in 1997.
Since that time he has taught Hip Hop and KickFit classes and has now become
a certified personal trainer. Bobby's greatest asset, he believes, is his ability
to motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Certifications
Bobby received his personal training certification through the Cooper Institute
for Aerobic Research. He is also a certified aerobics instructor through the
Aerobic Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and is a certified KickFit instructor.
In addition, Bobby has completed several hours of study on the biomechanics
of strength training with Nathan Williams of Cooper Clinic Sports Medicine.
About Bobby
Bobby's ability to motivate individuals and groups has been recognized inside
and outside the Mercy Fitness Center. He has served as an entertainer and master
of ceremonies for several fitness center and other area organization special
events. He looks forward to providing guidance and motivation for all those
who believe, as he does, that the desire to get fit "begins within" and that
the process should be fun and exciting.
Kelli
Miller
Personal Training
Kelli has been employed by the Mercy Fitness Center for over one year. She has
been an aerobics instructor for a total of fifteen years, teaching hi-low, step,
funk, and body sculpting. She has now turned to Personal Training as her career.
Certifications
Kelli is certified through the Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research in Dallas,
Texas, as a Physical Fitness Specialist and has a specialty certification in
Biomechanics of Strength Training through C.I.A.R. She also is a Spinning instructor
with her certification through the C.I.A.R. Kelli has been fortunate to work
and train with members of the Dallas Cowboy football team, broadening her knowledge
of Personal Training through the NFL. She was runner-up in the 1997 Ms. Arkansas
Body-building Competition. She currently retains her nursing license.
About Kelli
Kelli has been active in all areas of fitness since she started dancing at age
four. Age should never be a limitation to fitness.
Susan
Phillips
Personal Training
Susan has been in the fitness industry for about ten years. She has taught various
types of Aerobic exercise. She started teaching a Strength Training class, then
went into teaching Step Aerobics, Hi/Low Aerobics, Kickboxing, Spinning, Yoga,
and Pilates. From there she went into Personal Training. Susan has trained men
and women of all ages, ranging from the young athletes to the senior population.
She has also had the opportunity to work with individuals whom have needed rehab
from various injuries and/or surgeries.
Certifications
Susan has held various certifications throughout the years. She is currently
certified through Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research in Dallas, Texas, as
a Physical Fitness Specialist. She also holds a Spinning Certification through
Madd Dog.

they need to build a leaner, stronger, healthier body. How passionate are you
