The Radiology and Medical Imaging Department contributes to the overall mission of St. Edward Mercy Medical Center by providing valuable diagnostic testing and information in each Patients diagnosis and healing process. We believe in the dignity of all persons and in the value and quality of human life. The Department of Radiology provides quality service and strives to exceed the expectations of the patient, physician and family.
Radiology planning and decision-making are implemented with the Radiology Section Meeting Members and the Section Manager of each specific area. These groups meet on a monthly basis, with interaction between the groups. Various department members attend hospital-based meetings where operational issues are discussed and recommendations for changes are made. General staff meetings are held monthly by the Manager of each section for the purpose of communication, staff input to planning and implementing change to increase efficiency of the section or to improve patient care.
The Department of Radiology provides studies of exceptional quality in a convenient and cost-effective manner for even the most complex patient diagnosis.
