Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care’s “Validation” and “Best Achievement” awards
St. Edward Mercy was one of two facilities among the larger hospitals in Arkansas to receive the “Best Achievement” award.
Awards in 2008 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)

We were one of 86 hospitals and the only hospital in Arkansas to receive the Medal of Honor for Organ Donation. We received a second award for achieving 3.75 organs transplanted per donor.

St. Edward Mercy is the only inpatient rehabilitation center in the Fort Smith region and one of just seven facilities in Arkansas accredited by the Commission on Rehabilitation Facilities – Continuing Care Accreditation Commission.
Accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (COC)
