Mercy Alerts

Mercy Alerts are a mechanism developed by the Sisters of Mercy Health System to promote best practices via collection of drill-downs performed regarding possible sentinel and other adverse events. Mercy quality managers submit drill-downs to the Sisters of Mercy Health System corporate office and the data is shared to all hospitals within the system. This information is then shared with quality and safety committees where they can in-turn put actions into place for the prevention of a similar event happening again.
