There are differences in how Hospice agencies operate and how one may meet your needs better than another. Performance measures give you information about how well hospice agencies provide care for their patients with advanced illnesses.
Quality information can be used as a guide to help you choose Hospice agencies. Below are some of St. Edward Mercy Hospice’s performance measures results from April through June 2006 which were abstracted from the NHPCO’s Family Evaluation of Hospice Care survey. The survey is produced and distributed by the NHPCO and benchmarks St. Edward Mercy Hospice with other hospices in the state of Arkansas and the nation. St. Edward Mercy Hospice strives to provide the best quality care to our patients and their families.
