Outpatient Surgery Center

THE MERCY OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER, located on the third floor of the Medical Center, provides complete perioperative care.  The unit consists of nine (9) Operating Rooms, a Pre-Operative Holding Area, and twenty (20) Recovery Rooms.  Our surgical cases average 600 per month.  Open Monday through Friday the unit provides Pre-Operative, Surgical, and Post-Operative care areas.  The following specialties are offered at the Surgery Center:  Dentistry, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Anesthesia, Peripheral Vascular Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, Neurology and Urology.  To learn more about advanced technology used in the Outpatient Surgery Center click here.

The Mercy Outpatient Surgery Center is also committed to service, having won the PressGaney “Step Up To Service” awards in 2005, 2006, and again in 2007 for having increased their fiscal year percentile points from year to year.
