St. Edward Mercy to Host First-Ever Women’s Event

Fort Smith, Ark. – April 27, 2009 –St. Edward Mercy Medical Center will host its first-ever event designed exclusively for women from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 in the Centers of Excellence at St. Edward Mercy. The media is invited to attend.

WOMEN (Women of Mercy Educating Neighbors) is a health and wellness event hosted by St. Edward Mercy specifically geared toward the needs of women ages 18 and older. Women are invited to learn more about life balance, how to live a healthy lifestyle despite the hustle & bustle of life, and how to take care of themselves so they can take care of others.

At this event, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Information Fair, attend seminars on health topics, get a massage, attend a luncheon, have a wellness exam, and get a mammogram.
