Elizabeth Schluterman Named Co-Worker of the Year

July 17, 2008 – (Fort Smith, AR) Elizabeth Schluterman, diabetes education coordinator for St. Edward Mercy Health System, was named Co-Worker of the Year by her peers for 2008. Schluterman has been a co-worker at St. Edward Mercy for 31 years and started her career as an RN in cardiology. She started the diabetes education program in 1989. Schluterman finds her work rewarding as she works one-on-one with patients to maintain their overall wellness.

Schluterman is married with three children and two grandchildren. The Co-Worker of the Year is selected through a voting process.
