About the Foundation

Purpose

Mercy Foundation is exclusively responsible for the solicitation, receiving, recording, management and disbursement of gift income for the St. Edward Mercy Health System. The Foundation also works to expand the Health System’s capabilities in patient care and education.

Mission

The Mercy Foundation is rooted in the mission of Jesus and the healing ministry of the Church. The foundation is faithful to Catherine McAuley's tradition of justice, excellence, stewardship and respect for the dignity of each person. The Mercy Foundation will raise funds, which assists the medical center as they implement and advocate for innovative health and social services to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. There will always be particular concern for the economically poor.
