BREAST CANCER
To Save a Life, a program funded in part by grants from
the Ozark and
Arkansas
affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, provides
breast cancer education for individuals and groups desiring to learn more

or information session.
To Save a Life also provides free mammograms and breast
diagnostic procedures for un- and under- insured women. Call
479-785-5700 to schedule an appointment and to inquire about program qualifications.
CARDIAC
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Take control of your lifestyle and learn to manage heart disease through
our Cardiac Rehab program. The staff provides education and exercise training
for the management of the risk factors that contribute to the development
and progression of heart disease. These include smoking cessation, cholesterol
management, high blood pressure, diabetes and weight and stress management.
This program requires a physician referral and is covered by most insurance
following a heart attack, bypass or valve surgery, angioplasty, stent placement

CPR
CPR for Healthcare Provider First Time Courses are held
twice each year in January and July. Contact Susan Snider, RN, Staff

DIABETES
Diabetes Self Management Training (outpatient)
The Diabetes Education Program team is as available for individual needs
related to meal planning, carbohydrate counting, weight control, gestational
diabetes, or impaired glucose tolerance. A Registered Nurse is available
for individual needs related to insulin administration instruction, blood
glucose meter instruction, insulin pump training. A physician’s

Mercy Water Hogs
Mercy Water Hogs is a non-competitive opportunity for kids and young adults
to learn and practice the skills needed to become a proficient or advance
swimmer. Practices are held year round each Monday and Thursday from
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Practices are lead by Coach Jeff Smith
and assisted by Mercy Fitness Aquatic Director, Diane Self.
Requirements:
Able to swim a minimum of one length front crawl/freestyle
At least 5 years of age
Female swimmers must have a one piece suit
Have a love of the water!
